  • The Department of EEE has well qualified and experienced faculty team with broad areas of specialization including Power Systems, Power Electronics & Drives, Applied Electronics, Embedded Systems and VLSI

    • The department frequently organizes Seminar, Workshops and FDP sponsored by AICTE, ISTE, IEEE, DST, CSIR, Ministry of Earth Science, Anna University and other funding organizations

    • Ministry of Education, Saudi Arabia, has granted Rs.27,50,372 towards the consultant for International Collaborated Research Projects for the title Improved High Voltage Gain Multi-port Switched Quasi Z-Source DC-DC Converter for the Integration of Renewable Energy Sources.

    • ACITE has granted  Rs. 19,25,000 towards the Modernization of the existing Measurements and Instrumentation laboratory with an emphasis on Real-time computerized measurement system under Modernization And Removal Of Obsolescence Scheme (MODROBS) under Departmental Funded projects 

    • DST (Department of Science and Technology), New Delhi has granted Rs.13,44,000 towards R&D Projects for the title "Single Phase Matrix Converter Topology for solar photovoltaic enabled Uninterruptable Power Supply" 

    • Received an amount of Rs.4,78,125 toward the conduction of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) By Technical Institutions from AICTE, New Delhi for the Academic Year 2017-2018

    • The department of EEE has conducted International Conferences twice in the year  2010 and 2015 with sponsorship from CSIR, IEEE & ISTE

    • The department has been recognized as a research center to do research leading to Ph.D. under Anna University

    • Department has 7 Recognized Supervisor, 9 Ph.D. completed during the assessment period, 25 Ph.D. Pursuing faculty and Department  has indexed with  17 h-index ,33 i10-index

    • MoUs with Caliber Embedded Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Selvavakumaran Industries, SNS Plastic Industries, Arika Pumbs, Ponni Sugars, Axis Global Automation and Ameya Foods

    • Students of our Department has obtained University ranks consecutively

    • Student enrichment programmes like Industrial visit, In-plant training, Placement training, Workshops, Symposia, Seminars, Conferences, IITM-PALS, Association Activities, Sports Activities, Science Club, English Literary Club, NSS, NCC, YRC, Yoga, etc., are arranged regularly to improve the technical & Employability skills
