• Conducted one day work shop on Advanced in Digital Image Processing on 03.01.09.
• Conducted oneday work shop on simulation software(QualNet)on 24 .03.09.

• Mr.G. Singaravel is an External Supervisor in Bharathidasan University Trichy for M.Phil degree.
• Bharathidasan University Trichy students of 2001 – 2005 batches have secured first rank in Periyar University in the first year examinations.
• One of our Alumni participated IEEE students fellowship sponsored by Anna University on "ROBOTRIX".
• A proposal has submitted on "Analysis of Pattern in Textile Design" for NITT India Pvt. Ltd.
• Alumni of our department were placed in reputed concerns like TCS, INFOSYS, IBM, WIPRO, SATHYAM, etc.
• National level Technical Symposium (ABLAZE) were conducted on recent topics in every year.
• Faculty members were set the question papers for various universities for the courses like B.E., B.Tech.
• Conducted non-formal course on "Fundamental Concepts of Computers" for rural youth in each and every Year.
• Conducted a one week Course on "MS Office & Internet Application" for the Police Personnel of Tiruchengode.
• Some Preliminary computer courses were conducted for the school students in and around Tiruchengode.
• Conducted project exhibition-cum-Seminar on project awareness for the benefit of 11th & 12th standard students.
• Computer related books were issued from our department library to the children of our college staff residing in staff quarters.
• Conducted one week Course on "Basics of Computer Science" for the Panchat Board members.
• Conducted one day Course on "MS Office & Internet Application" for the Engineers of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB).
