Achievements
- Mechanical Engineering Department was started in 2005 – 2006 with the intake of 60 students.
- Department achieved 26th rank in the result released overall Tamil Nadu
- Mechanical Engineering Association was started in 2006- 2007 and conducted number of programs such as Seminars, Symposiums and Workshops to enrich the knowledge of faculty and students.

- Department has been approved as a research Centre of Anna University, Coimbatore since 2008.
- 6 of our Faculty members have been pursuing Ph.D. in various disciplines.
- 16 Scholars have registered their Ph.D. in the department.
